I'm an Assistant Professor of Science Education in the Department of Learning, Teaching, & Curriculum at the University of Missouri.

 

Foundational to my research program is the idea that each and every student, regardless of their linguistic background, current level of engagement with science, or any other factor, not only deserves to receive quality science instruction necessary to be successful but also has the potential to thrive while being true to themselves in science classrooms.
